Jason has been with Grape Creek Vineyards since 2004, helping the wine program grow from 2,500 cases to 100,000 cases produced across all Heath Family Brands which includes Grape Creek Vineyards, Heath Sparkling Wines, Jenblossom Cellars and Invention Vineyards.
Prior to joining Grape Creek Jason spent 8 years as the assistant winemaker for Llano Estacado Winery in Lubbock. Jason’s focus is making wines from the highest quality selection of grapes and letting developing wines create their own path to the bottle. Jason and his team utilize both advanced and traditional wine-making practices.
Jason is the most decorated winemaker in Texas, having achieved more than 150, 90+ scores and over 1,000 medals from the most prestigious wine competitions in the country.

Brian and Jennifer Heath have owned Grape Creek Vineyards in Fredericksburg, Texas, since 2006. They have planted estate vineyards, expanded and developed state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, and created an exceptional visitor experience at their “Tuscany in Texas” tasting rooms. In 2014, they purchased Heath Vineyards in the Paso Robles Willow Creek district, which has already yielded multiple 90+ point wines.
Additionally, they partnered with Stout’s Kitchens to provide an upscale, on-property restaurant overlooking the vines. They also opened tasting rooms in Georgetown, Texas, and downtown Fredericksburg to better serve the many Grape Creek Wine Club Members.
In 2019, construction was completed on Heath Sparkling Wines, the first winery in Texas dedicated to sparkling wines. The dramatic, modern architecture and unique wine presentation round out the experience of “One Vineyard Estate, Two Premier Wineries” for their guests and Members.
Most recently, they established Invention Vineyards. Bringing innovation to this historic property, the completely renovated industrial urban tasting room is surrounded by 35 acres of estate vineyards and a full-production winery. Visit today and see the transformation.

These ultra-premium Cabernets and Pinot Noir are sourced from our growers in Howell Mountain, Yountville, Rutherford and more, then crafted in our Texas cellar.
